B&B for the discerning traveler

The attention to detail was unreal. I mean, there was a socket right by the mirror for hair drying – a small thing, but it counts! And the host David was a real gem, went out of his way to make us feel at home, had breakfast all set up when we woke up, it was nice!

It wasn’t cheap but you know, who cares for a bit of luxury.

great access to parks and historic landmarks

during my stay, I loved exploring Riverside Park just over a kilometer away, which offered peaceful walking paths, and I also appreciated being close to the historic Trinity Parish Church, making for lovely strolls through the city.

I had an amazing stay here – the en-suite bathroom was spacious and had a great shower, and the breakfast setup was both convenient and delicious! I also loved that the room had a socket by the mirror, making hair drying a breeze. Would absolutely come back again!

Had a great time with friends at a lovely lodge! The kitchen was amazing for breakfast, and the views from our room were stunning. We also checked out a local bar and enjoyed the warm atmosphere there. Definitely a great place for a group getaway.

Exceptional Stay with Thoughtful Touches

My recent stay was absolutely delightful! The Deluxe King Room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and featured comfortable bed linen that made for a restful night. The communal dining area offered a lovely continental breakfast with freshly baked pastries and a selection of organic juices, all set up by the host the night before, which added a cozy touch. David, the host, was welcoming and ensured all our needs were met. Although everything was generally great, I would've appreciated a bit more variety in the breakfast options.

The Firbank Lodge offers a modern, clean environment and stunning views from the Gold Room, making for a pleasant stay. Although there were some minor issues with breakfast availability, the overall experience was lovely. Hosts were friendly and welcoming, further adding to the charm of this B&B.

Encountered a couple of hiccups during my stay, like the absence of hosts during breakfast hours, which made things feel a bit impersonal. the lack of bread on a morning left me scratching my head, given the self-serve setup. nearby nightlife options like The Clansman seemed pretty dull, lacking the energy you might expect after a long day of exploring. Parking was decent, but finding an open spot during peak hours presented some mild inconvenience.
